Challenge Mountain is a non-profit 501 (c)3 organization providing adaptive outdoor recreational opportunities to people with special needs and their families, free of charge. 

For more than 25 years Challenge Mountain has been dedicated to providing a venue for sports, outdoor recreation, and leisure skills to those with physical disabilities or mental challenges. 

Challenge Mountain is a one of a kind organization.  No other non-profit organization provides adaptive recreational opportunities exclusively to the special needs population.   Challenge Mountain provides its own operational support by owning and operating two resale stores.  100% of all donated dollars go directly to program support.

The goal of all programs is to help create happier, healthier, longer lives.  This is achieved through skiing, adaptive skiing, snowboarding,  adaptive snowboarding, snowshoeing, wilderness camping adventures, venue driven day camps, and activity driven day camps.  Activities include archery, badminton, t-ball, hiking, nature education, seated volleyball, and much more.
